Plotbunny Adoption post

Wrong Name

This one has been rolling around my head for a while. The Doctor has had many companions and according to fanon he has been intimate with more then one. So what if during a carnal act the Doctor calls out the wrong name? My idea is titled: "The five times the Doctor said the wrong name and the one time he kept his mouth shut."
Any doctor, any pairing, I'd like to see this one done.

Oh I so wanna do this one! I have actually done a one shot where the Doctor calls one of his companions the wrong name whilst in the throes of passion, never thought of extending it before now though. (plot bunnies arriving by the second!)

I can think of one other person who would probably love to do this type of fic, and thats lillibetm3.

The Canon AU

After S2, Rose has to rebuild her life in the AU wit Jackie and Alt!Pete. After talking to Ten at Bad Wolf Bay, she tries to get on with things but just as she thinks she's put the ache of her past behind her, she finds a battered blue phone box on the street, and on a whim tries her TARDIS key on it...The door opens, confirming it's the TARDIS, but inside is like she's never seen before. The TARDIS seems empty at first, but she finds someone (McGann!eight) unconscious on the floor and takes care of him, etc, and finds out that it is, in fact an alt!doctor, in the middle of the Time War. He needs her help to win the Time War, but at the penultimate moment the decision is Rose's--She can use the weapon they devise to help alt!doctor win the War without destroying his people, or she can use it to crack open a hole and get back to her own Doctor...at the cost of letting alt!doctor repeat the mistakes of the Time War and destroy all of Gallifrey.

Yea, I know it's pretty involved, you can take parts or leave them as you want...it's so developed because I've wanted to write it for a while, but I have my own bunny for the bigbang, so I thought I'd share. (I also probably couldn't do it justice) Please let me know if you take it, and/or want anyone to bounce ideas off of--I'd be more than willing to help.

Hahaha, yay! Thank you for your adoption....and if you need anyone to bounce ideas off of/give suggestions when you're stuck, I'd be more than happy to help. (Like explaining why there's an alt!Doctor even tho the Time Lords are supposedly at the nexus of the universes so they don't have copies...When real!Doctor sealed the universes, it probably splintered the reality of the Time War or something and made copies.)

Wow, I haven't thought of that story in ages.

I did start working on it. I didn't get it done, not even close and certainly not in time for the big bang. I have hardly written anything in the past year and a half or so...which I'm hoping to change. I just went and read the detailed summary I wrote way back when...maybe I'll dust it off and start over. Especially since someone wants to read it so bad!

It's pretty AU after Turn Left any more, but I really hated that storyline, anyway. ^_^

um....I think pie_is_good started on it at the time, but I never heard one way or the other and got carried away in the whirlwind of my freshman year of college, so I don't know. It's not on the bigbang website for that year, so I'm guessing it is floundering on somebody's hard drive somewhere.

So, by all means, help yourself to it. I'm cool with that....and different people can take it in different directions, so I don't think you'll be stepping on anyone's toes.

P.S. Thanks for giving me a legit reason to use this icon. ;)

I would love a long fic around Ianto's statement

I think Ianto would be more subtle than just whumping Jack, or letting a weevil kill him a couple of times.... now a vampire!Ianto would be brilliant.

I'm not exactly putting it up for adoption, since it's something I still intend to explore sometime… but am I the only one to wonder exactly what the Judoon "compensation" slip Martha got was, whether she kept it, and what might happen if she tried to use it? Surely I'm not.

This is going to definitely sound an odd idea, but it's been rolling emptily about my brain since the regeneration of Nine into Ten. What if someone were to explore the effects of regeneration on both the Doctor(s) and the Companions? (this line has been in my head, if it helps: "He looked at her, traced the lines of her face with his eyes, and recognized the memory of his predecessor's depth of emotion for this girl. He, himself, liked her surely, and enjoyed her company, but even with that and all that he knew and saw in his head, it was not his own and he somewhat resented her expecting something that he had never had to give." i don't know if anyone would want to incorporate the line at all, though they are welcome, but it illustrates my idea a bit.) Also, my idea was that the story would deal with what regeneration actually is - as though it were pulling a future incarnation, but not specifically the same person, into the time-sphere wherein the current Docotor is dying. Each Time Lord would have been a certain level, or type, and so they replaced their dying selves with someone of the same status and type. Would Ten then have had his own history, merged with that of Nine upon regeneration? Obviously, there are personality changes in the show, but what if it were because it's each new person filling a life already partially lived?

And, really, does any of this make sense to anyone outside of my own brain?

It makes *utter* sense to me, complete and utter and smacks dead on something I was thinking about doing re: Ten/Rose (I'm evil that way, I'm sorry), but probably don't have the skill to pull off. It is still an utterly, completely, fantastic idea that makes a lot of sense and goes a long way toward deepening both the Doctor as a character and the relationship he has with his companions. Someone needs to write it.

It makes *utter* sense to me, complete and utter and smacks dead on something I was thinking about doing re: Ten/Rose (I'm evil that way, I'm sorry), but probably don't have the skill to pull off. It is still an utterly, completely, fantastic idea that makes a lot of sense and goes a long way toward deepening both the Doctor as a character and the relationship he has with his companions. Someone needs to write it.

Time War AU


The Time War obviously took a big toll on the Doctor. Bunny for Eight, Nine or Ten, is What if ending the war made him go a bit mad in the head? He couldn't handle being the hand of destruction and mentally broke.

Jacks missing years

Jack gets his missing two years back and finds out that he was a very bad guy he sold out the entire human race. Actually he was undercover and he does not remember that and they had burried his real memeories to make him think he was bad to be able to infiltrate into the bad guys company

Jack is feeling insecure in his relationship with the Doctor and Rose, he thinks they no longer want him or love him and would be better off without him and all his baggage that he brings into the relationship so he decides to leave and bow out of the relationship.
What is all Jacks baggage
What do the Doctor and Rose do if anything

Torchwood One is reinstated, and Ianto is put on trial for treason after they discover what happened with Lisa. Jack could be a co-defendant, as he covered up Ianto's actions, but he doesn't have to be.
